Pittsburgh Panthers have a week to get healthy before they take the field against the Syracuse Orangemen at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh on November 7 at 12 noon. Pittsburgh has to handle their business on the field and not let up. The Panthers can not take Syracuse lightly. The Big East can be tough on any given Saturday. The Pittsburgh Panthers follow Syracuse with West Virginia and Cinncinati ending out the Big East play. These 3 games will make or break the Pittsburgh Panthers year. If the Panthers can show some strength against West Virginia and Cinncinati, they could land a quality bowl and regain some of the tradition the the Panther family so desperately need.

I hope Dave Wanstedt can pull the Panthers back up to a good team. I always root for them when they are on, Since old dave is a former cowboys coach. Plus I really dig Pitt’s Uniforms.

I would love to see Dave Wanstedt keep the panthers at a level where they are respected. In the late 70’s and 80’s, they had players like Tony Dorsett, Dan Marino etc. The team was always competitive and ranked in the top 20. This is the Pitt team I know and love and we need to be consistently in the top 20 to be respected. Keep on rooting for them ….Great post.
