Pittsburgh Panthers continue their winning ways against Syracuse on Saturday. Pittsburgh controls their own destiny in the Big East conference with West Virginia Mountaineers and Cinncinati Bearcats yet to play. If Pitt can run the table, they will have a chance at earning a quality bowl game and the much needed respect. Pittsburgh Panthers key players Saturday were: Stull, Dion Lewis, and Dorin Dickerson. Stull was 16 of 23 for 225 yards and 1 touchdown. Stull has developed into a good quarterback. Stull has matured and has learned not to make the big mistakes that can cost a game. He has been consistent all year which is a credit to the Pitt coaching staff. Stull has put up some good numbers this year with 17 touchdown passes and 4 interceptions. His passer rating is 161.6. Dion Lewis, Pitt’s freshman sensation, ran for 110 yards on 16 carries and 1 touchdown. Dion Lewis leads all Pittsburgh rushers with 1139 yards rushing this season and 12 touchdowns with 3 games to go. Who thought that Pitt could have replaced McCoy, who entered the draft early? Dorin Dickerson led the Pitt receivers with 118 yards on 7 catches and 1 touchdown. Dorin Dickerson leads all Pittsburgh receivers with 10 touchdowns this season. Pittsburgh Panthers next game is November 14, 2009 against Notre Dame at 8pm. Go Pitt…..
